The American War of Independence, in a strategy game.

Liberty or Death is, despite its small size and its status as a low-power game, a fun way to explore the history of the United States of America. Specifically, Liberty or Death recreates a curious turn-taking platform game based on the American War of Independence, which takes place between 1775 and 1783.

In Liberty or Death you can choose between leading the American army or the British Army. In each case, you'll have your missions to recruiting soldiers for your ranks, train your legions, build weapons, send spies to enemy territory, etc. In Liberty or Death you'll be entertained for many months.

Although it was created years ago for the SNES by Koei, Liberty or Death is now available for the Windows PC and can be downloaded for free as well. Of course, Liberty or Death enjoys the status of classic strategy and educational game for any age, from age 10 upwards.
